In the Fall of 2014, a group of graduate students at Fresno State enrolled in ENGL250T Experimental American Literature, taught by Professor Steven Church, undertook a project to catalogue and record some of the wonder of Fresno and the Central Valley of California.
Inspired by Michael Martone’s book, The Blue Guide to Indiana, each student wrote three entries for their own Blue Guide.
The one caveat was that at least one of these entries had to be “true.”
